Things that you should know
▷授業について about classes
- 各学部や授業のLINE上のオープンチャットがあります。そこでは学部の先輩がアドバイスや過去問、また、同じく授業をとっている人がお知らせなどを教えてくれるので、ぜひ入りましょう！
- 健康診断を受けないとスポーツスタディが受けられないので、きちんと受けておきましょう!
- 英語や2外などの言語は先生によって大変さが違います。どれが簡単とかはないので、興味のある言語を選びましょう。また、中国語は前期後期それぞれに期末として大きなテストがあることで有名です。ロシア語はとっている人が少な過ぎて学部を跨いで授業を受けるそうです。
- 最初に取りたい言語を選ぶ機会がありますが、全部選ぶと中国語になる可能性が高いです。
There is an open chat of each department and class on LINE, where you can get advice and past exams from seniors who took the same class. I recommend you to join the chat!
- You should take a health checkup or you can’t take “sports studies classes”.
- You should choose classes in a second language according to your interests because the level of each class is completely different depending on the teachers. Chinese classes have end-term tests at the end of each term. Few students take Russian classes so, there are many students from different classes.
- if you have a chance to choose your language classes and choose all languages, there is a possibility that you will take Chinese classes.
▷履修について
- 大学の1コマが高校での2コマ分だと考えて履修を組みましょう！1〜４限全部に授業を入れるときついです！
- 履修は抽選に落ちることも考えて組みましょう！
- 一年で大体40単位を目安に取りましょう！（前期だけで20前後）
- 五限はきついです。よく考えて履修を組みましょう！
- 空きコマを作らないようにしましょう。意外に空きコマの過ごし方が難しいです。
- 自分の興味に合わせて履修を組むことがベストですが、万が一つまらない授業や鬼単の授業にあったってしまったときは友達がいた方が乗り切れます！
- 履修を組むときはシラバスの説明や同じ授業名でも先生が違うことがあるのでしっかりと確認しましょう！※先生によって難易度が違うことが大半です。
- シラバスの書き方で先生の雰囲気がわかることがあります。
You should register for your classes considering that the length of time of each class is longer than classes in high school. It is hard to put the classes into from 1 to 4th period.
- You should register for your classes considering that you can fail the lottery.
- You should get 40 credits in a year. (20 credits in spring semester.)
- It is hard to put classes into classes at 5th period.
- You should not vacant classes because it is hard to manage the time while you have no classes.
- It would help if you took the classes with your friends in case you take difficult classes.
- You should check the name and information carefully in the syllabus.
- You can sometimes find out what professors are like by reading the syllabus.

- 同じ学部のサークルの先輩に過去問をもらいましょう
- You should get past exams from seniors.
▷昼食について
- 第一食堂などの学食やコンビニは昼食時間に混むので、それを考慮しておこう！
- お勧めの食堂はアイビーです。（5号館にあります。）量が多いのに安いです！また、全品焼きたてです〜のおじさんがいます。
- The main dining hall, school cafeterias, and convenience stores get crowded at lunchtime.
- We recommend you to go to IVI, where you can eat a lot at a low price. And you can meet a famous chef as well.
▷休みについて
- 悲しいことに私たちにゴールデンウィークはありません。ほとんど授業になってしまいます。しかし、その分秋休みがあるので、みなさん頑張りましょう。
- Unfortunately, we don't have much leisure time during golden week, when we have almost class.
But, we have a fall vacation instead!
